In an effort to spread the word about the Lombardi Award and the philanthropic endeavor to aid cancer research, the Rotary Club of Houston and the Harris County—Houston Sports Authority are traveling around the city of Houston and the State of Texas! Whether it be under the Friday Night Lights or on Saturdays down South, be on the lookout for the legendary block of granite to make an appearance near you! With three athletes featured on the Lombardi Award Watch List, the folks at the Cotton Bowl were kind enough to allow the Lombard Award to visit the final installment of the Southwest Classic at AT&T Stadium. Arkansas' Landon Jackson and the Texas A&M tandem of Nic Scourton and Shemar Turner made their cases for the midseason Watch-list while fans took advantage of the trophy's presence to stop for a few photos.
